Membership - The IMA consists of members of "like precious faith" who have joined with other ministers to form a spiritual alliance of love and mutual faith. Members are encouraged to become active in the association, accountable in ministry, and to freely share resources with one another. Each member receives the benefit of a ministerial license, possibility of ordination, and the potential for church coverage from the Federal Government.
National Board - The IMA National Board is elected by the membership of the IMA to serve a three-year term of office. The National Board in turn elects a chairman. Together this board represents the constituency of the IMA, sets policy for the association, provides leadership, and is the decision-making group for the Corporation.
District Boards - District Boards have been established in each district to plan conferences, represent ministers, and conduct business. These boards are accountable to the National Board of the IMA.
Home Office - The Home Office is directed by the Administrator who is appointed by the National Board. The Administrator can be reached each business day and is available to answer questions, provide support, or help with ministerial concerns pertaining to the IMA.
